'Re-Hemptation'
Exhibition visual identity & marketing materials
2023
'Re-Hemptation' is an exhibition by Husarska Design studio, the first edition of which took place at the Lodz Design Festival, and for the second time was held during Vienna Design Week. It focused on the potential of hemp fiber as an environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional materials. "Re-Hemptation" illustrates technologies and products that enable us to use the one-year-old plant in such industrial sectors as food and furniture production and as a construction material. The overriding objective of the exhibition is to improve the image of hemp as a means of encouraging the research and development of composite materials in the spirit of ecological sustainability.
My work included creating a visual identity for the exhibition. I designed posters, flyers, as well as graphics designed to promote the initiative on social media.
The idea of the exhibition was to practically experience the discussed plants and materials through the sense of touch. Viewers had access to samples of various fibers, stalks, or seeds of hemp and flax.
Designed marketing materials in physical and digital form promoted the exhibition and accompanying events.
