Social campaign for future mothers
2024

Participation in the exhibition of the International Review of Student Design 'AGRAFA'24'

Women preparing to become mothers are often faced with an overload of information from many different sources, often contradictory. The campaign aims to debunk common myths about motherhood and raise awareness of the need to prepare for this new role with reliable sources of information.
Conversations with mothers, midwives, and psychologists taught me that knowledge about upcoming changes is essential for a woman's well-being during the perinatal period.  Without reliable information, the anxiety accompanying the woman intensifies and prevents her from fully enjoying motherhood.
Posters in the clinic and materials for social media are designed to focus women's attention on the postpartum period, a topic that is overlooked in antenatal education. This leaves many women feeling unprepared.
The illustrations were built from components that form the basis of the campaign's key visual and can be used to further develop the concept.
The leaflets can be given to women during the midwife's antenatal visits, which take place after the birth and focus on caring for the baby.
The project is addressed to future parents. The campaign aims to help especially first-time mothers to prepare for the upcoming changes in their bodies and minds. The informational materials are intended to serve as a dependable source of knowledge to aid medical personnel in educating women.
Project aims to debunk common myths about motherhood. Provided information will focus women's attention on the postnatal period, which is often overlooked. A reliable source of information and proper preparation will allow parents to focus on the baby and their self-care in this important time.
